VCF Academy thank players and family members for excellent response to pandemic
The management of the VCF Academy have sent a letter of thanks to the players and their family members, in which, amongst other matters they highlight that nobody could imagine the difficult events that have occurred in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. For this reason, they have expressed thanks them for their demonstration of the club's values, their positivity, independence and also their magnificent dedication. Some of the components of the academy faced even more adversity with difficult personal circumstances, but together they have been able to overcome them and become even stronger.
The summer holidays are coming and with them time to disconnect from football, although the VCF Academy players have been provided with a series of tips to disconnect whilst keeping their development going: For example, not spending a lot of time on their mobile phones, having a healthy diet, sleeping more, enjoying time with family and friends, looking for new hobbies, setting sporting and personal goals for the new season, helping those most in need , practicing other sports, and, most importantly, knowing that they all belong to Valencia CF -with the responsibility that comes with it
"Each crisis, each setback and each difficult time are opportunities to grow, to learn something different and to try new ideas. That is the VCF Academy philosophy,” reads the letter.
Those at Valencia CF will continue to support the VCF Academy, and you are a very important part of this exciting project. The values of the VCF Academy will once again be an important source of support so that each of its members becomes a much stronger person in life, a better football player on the pitch, and also, an important ambassador for the club.
The letter concluded by summarising the philosophy of the VCF Academy:
“In a few years many will look back on 2020 and think that it was the worst year of their lives. We hope that you can look back on that time and remember it as the most important turning point in your footballing career and life. Take this time to recharge your batteries and disconnect. This year has been crazy and you deserve a rest. We will see you again very soon at the Ciudad Deportiva. Until then, relax, enjoy, play, eat well, have fun and dream”
